A little more about your role… We are seeking a Document Controller to support the document control function across our Transmission & Distribution / major infrastructure projects. This role is key to ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant management of project documentation throughout its lifecycle. The position involves working closely with the Design Manager / Technical Lead and wider document control team, supporting the Global Capacity Centre (GCC), and aligning with WSP UK standards while adapting processes to meet project-specific needs. Key Responsibilities: Support the implementation and maintenance of the Document Control Protocol for the project Maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) (e.g., ACC, ProjectWise, Aconex) in collaboration with the BIM Manager Assist in managing review and approval workflows for controlled documents and drawings Ensure proper version control, document status coding, and audit trail compliance Coordinate digital signatures within document workflows Handle controlled submissions, including issuing drawings and reports to clients, third parties, and authorities Collaborate with the GCC document control team and contribute to consistent practices across WSP UK Provide onboarding and guidance to project staff on document systems and procedures Generate reports and dashboards to monitor document status, compliance, and outstanding actions What we'll be looking for you to demonstrate… Experience in document control for Transmission & Distribution or infrastructure projects Familiarity with CDE platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, ProjectWise) Understanding of ISO 19650 and digital information workflows Strong communication and coordination skills High attention to detail and quality assurance mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF markup tools, and metadata-driven document systems Don’t quite meet all the criteria?
