Data-Focused Consultant – Global Consumer Business - £1200 per day - 6 month Contract

The successful candidate will identify, shape, and deliver measurable operational and commercial improvements through data-driven initiatives. This role is ideal for a commercially minded data expert who can translate analytical insights into tangible business value on a global scale.

Industry Expertise
* Proven experience within large-scale global consumer or enterprise organisations, ideally across multiple regions and business lines (e.g., retail, FMCG, eCommerce, or consumer services).
* Strong track record of delivering impactful data products, analytics platforms, or insight-driven transformations that improve performance and profitability.
* Demonstrable evidence of generating multimillion-pound (or equivalent) value through cost optimisation, efficiency gains, or revenue growth.
* Deep understanding of how consumer trends, operational complexity, and market dynamics vary across international markets.
Business Engagement
* Confident engaging and influencing C-suite executives, functional heads, and operational teams across different geographies and cultures.
* Ability to translate complex business challenges—from supply chain inefficiencies to customer behaviour insights—into actionable data strategies.
* Skilled at developing clear, evidence-based recommendations that directly inform business decisions and measurable outcomes.
* Adept at navigating ambiguity and constructively challenging assumptions while maintaining trust and credibility with stakeholders.
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with competing global priorities.

* Experienced in managing diverse, and occasionally resistant, stakeholders across both technical and commercial functions.
* Demonstrated ability to align senior leaders around data-driven priorities, securing sponsorship and resources for initiatives.
* Proven track record of building consensus across cross-functional teams in different time zones and business cultures.
