Mobile Vehicle Technician – SMR Division
Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division – a new era of mobile repair.
Competitive base salary: 45,378 pounds (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance if applicable), with on-target earnings up to 57,000 pounds.
Guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, core hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

What You’ll Need
* Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Earnings and Opportunities
Base Salary: 45,378 pounds; Potential Earnings: up to 57,000 pounds through bonuses and premium‑rate overtime.
Guaranteed Overtime: After your first month, you can opt to work extra rest days at 30 pounds per hour. One extra day a month could earn you 3,000 more per year; two days could give an extra 5,000.
