Sheridan School is looking to recruit an outstanding Food Tech Teacher. We seek an ambitious, energetic, and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will teach and support young people who may have autism, emotional behavioral difficulties, ADHD, and associated complex needs.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher, preferably with experience teaching and supporting young people within SEN, along with the following characteristics:
Resilience: Supporting some of the most vulnerable children with varying emotional, behavioral, autism, ADHD, and related difficulties, which may challenge your resilience.
Communication: Effective communication with young people is vital to understanding their needs. Good teamwork and communication are key to relaying important information to staff.
Organisation: Experience in organizing, planning, and delivering well-structured lessons tailored to pupils' needs, monitoring and adapting teaching to respond to each pupil's strengths and needs.
Caring: Our young people require the best care possible. If you are naturally caring and compassionate, this role is for you.
Attentive: No two tasks are the same; understanding and responding to the needs of young people is vital.
