About Our Client
Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the finance team is looking for additional support.
Job Description
3. Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts and outstanding payments.
4. Monitor and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely collection.
5. Resolve customer queries related to invoices and payments in a professional manner.
6. Prepare and distribute client statements and reminders as needed.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies in billing or payments.
8. Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures at all times.
9. Provide regular reports on debtor balances and collection activities to management.
10. Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. A strong understanding of credit control processes and financial record-keeping.
12. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
