Project Manager – Joinery / Construction
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 7:30am – 4:30pm
An established and growing business within the construction and joinery sector is looking to appoint a confident Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of client projects from specification through to installation and completion.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, building long-term client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered profitably, on time and to a high standard.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects once sold, acting as the key technical and commercial point of contact for clients, internal teams and external suppliers.
You will be responsible for ensuring specifications are correct, issues are resolved quickly and customers feel fully supported throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of client projects
* Act as the main technical contact for customers at point of sale and beyond
* Liaise daily with clients, internal operations and external suppliers
* Support the sales team with technical advice and attend customer meetings when required
* Investigate and resolve quality, installation and technical queries
* Ensure customer requirements are accurately documented and standardised
* Maintain project gross profit and commercial awareness
* Schedule activities accurately and update CRM records
* Deliver product and installation training to clients and internal staff
* Assist with the development of installation guides, mock-ups and support materials
* Contribute to bespoke and new product solutions

* Background in joinery, interiors, construction or manufacturing
* Strong understanding of general construction practices and site requirements
* Confident communicator with clients, architects, installers and internal teams

* Commercially aware and detail orientated
* Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Outlook
