We are now seeking a passionate and driven Flat Roofing Business Development Manager for the North West region. What You’ll Do –
1. You will be responsible for developing and implementing flat roofing strategies that drive business growth, improve profitability, and manage relationships with suppliers, customers, and branches.
2. You will be accountable for sales and gross margin (trading margin and rebate) for flat roofing in the North-West Region.
3. Prepare and maintain budgets for flat roofing in the region.
4. Propose category changes including suppliers, ranges, and stock profiles to the board.
5. Act as a local conduit between suppliers and branch managers.
6. Establish and agree on customer portfolios with branch managers, the Regional Director, and the Category Manager, which will form part of the incentive scheme.
7. Engage with suppliers to become proficient in their flat roofing systems.
8. Collaborate with the Category Manager to implement suitable pricing policies in the region.
9. Develop category plans and work closely with Marketing, Branch Managers, the Regional Director, and Category Manager.
10. Coordinate trade shows and demo events.
11. Stay up-to-date with industry and product developments, adapting the Category Strategy as appropriate.
12. Manage working capital by monitoring stock profiles, levels, and turnover, including active management of slow-moving and obsolete stock.
13. Prepare monthly reviews of category performance against objectives.
