Overview
Hoist and Stairlift Service Technician. Our client is seeking an experienced Hoist and Stairlift Service Technician to join their growing and supportive team. This is a varied and rewarding role involving the service, maintenance, and support of mobility equipment installations across East and West Sussex. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background.
Key Responsibilities
* Servicing and supporting the installation of stairlifts and hoists
* Covering scheduled jobs across Sussex
* Participating in an on-call emergency rota (with enhanced pay)
* Working both solo and with a service team
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements
* Prior experience servicing and installing stairlifts
* Mechanical and electrical competence
* Maths or technical qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds preferred)
* A practical mindset
* Willingness to train on new models and learn hoist systems
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to follow a varied daily schedule
* Full UK driving licence (clean)
