Responsibilities
1. Own delivery and lifecycle management of Safety digital capabilities, including hazard analysis (FHA, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, STPA), safety requirements management, configuration/change control, variant management, verification orchestration, and safety case tooling
2. Define Safety reference architectures and technical baselines aligned to enterprise standards
3. Ensure end-to-end traceability across requirements, architecture, analysis, test, and assurance evidence
4. Establish governance standards, data models, and model-based ways of working
5. Manage suppliers and technology partners to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions
6. Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, training, and change management
Essential Experience
7. Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Safety Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
8. 10+ years of experience delivering safety capabilities in regulated, safety-critical industries (e.g. Aerospace/Defence)
9. Strong knowledge of safety engineering principles, hazard analysis methods, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ARPA, ARPA, DO-C/DO-, IEC, ISO, MIL-STD-E)
10. Experience with model-based safety engineering and integrated digital toolchains
11. Proven delivery leadership across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
12. Security clearance (or eligibility) required
