MPV Fitter – Horsham. Are you ready to take your mechanical skills trackside? Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Multi‑Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Fitter to join our Rail team in Horsham. This role involves maintaining MPVs and modules to ensure peak performance to keep the UK rail network moving.

Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair MPV and modules in line with Company Policies
* Maintenance and custody of all documentation
* Carry out fault finding and subsequent repair of mechanical and electrical systems
* Prepare verbal and written reports on faults, repairs, maintenance, accidents and incidents
* As part of a team develop initiatives to improve quality, productivity, reliability and availability of MPV’s and Modules
* Training and Professional Development as required
* Any other duties as directed by Line Management
Qualifications and experience
Essential
* NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Ability to undertake road vehicle driving as required
* Ability to work to maintenance programme timescales/deadlines
* Must meet and maintain the appropriate medical standard for the position
Desirable
* Personal Track Safety certification
* Dual Trade skills competency (Mechanical / Electrical systems)
* Knowledge of and experience in the Rail industry
