Overview
As a Food Services Assistant, you will help prepare, pack and display breads, pastries, sweet treats, hot foods and seasonal items to entice customers. You will ensure food safety and hygiene standards, assist customers, replenish stock, and contribute to a clean and well-presented store environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, pack and display a range of breads, pastries, sweet treats, hot foods and seasonal items so they are enticing for customers.
* Comply with food safety and hygiene standards by checking temperatures, date checking products, disposing of waste and cleaning food areas.
* Be attentive to customer needs, serve them promptly, answer questions and proactively offer help.
* Replenish stock to maintain availability and keep shelves tidy and well-presented.
* Build strong product, service and promotion knowledge to provide recommendations.
* Work flexibly across the store as required.
