InStyle Direct are seeking an Interior Designer to join our London based design studio to serve our global client base.
ROLE
At Instyle Direct, the Interior Designer role involves full responsibility for executing and delivering high-standard FF&E design deliverables for small to mid-level projects.
With several years of experience and a robust portfolio, our FF&E Interior Designer manages every project phase, including client liaison, pre-design, schematic design, development, procurement, installation, and aftercare. This ensures that every project is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the company’s exacting standards
We are looking for a commercial-minded, exceptional communicator who is looking for varied & challenging role. You must have exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, be adaptable & self-motivated.
You will be part of the design team working closely with our collective of designers, sales & warehouse team & furniture installers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leading small - to middle level projects
* Attending client meetings with Sales or a Senior member of the Design team and consulting on design and where appropriate
* Facilitating a growing number of projects at any one time, proving an excellent standard of project delivery as per company guidelines and policies
* Demonstrate the ability to seamlessly handle a mix of multiple projects simultaneously.
* Lead and manage projects from concept to completion on time & in full.
* This process involves preparing proposals, space plans, mood boards & presentations
* Confidently communicate with clients and the team to ensure smooth project visualisation & execution
* Regularly attend site to survey, manage & style installations of projects
* Ensure styling follows the company standard & meticulous attention to detail
* Liaise daily with the sales team & international offices to prioritise current projects & deadlines.
* Actively seek new suppliers & build our trade supplier library.
* Assist in other projects FF&E tasks if required by the Senior team
REQUIRMENTS
· Relevant qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
· 4+ years experience in the residential design sector
· Eligible Visa/work permit for minimum 2 years
· Positive, proactive, solution-based attitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Passion for interior design industry
· Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Adobe Suite and Microsoft office
· The ability to work independently & and well as a part of a team
· Ability to elegantly work to deadlines and keep calm under pressure
· Experience in creatively developing ideas/concepts and mood boards
· Commitment to a full-time role based in our Design studio in NW2.
This is an office-based job (with exception of site visits and client meetings) that requires commuting to NW2 - London with no parking available on-site.
Successful candidates will be invited in for an interview at our studio with directors, Mansi Mehra and Max Prychidko.
