Our Cardiff Capital unit has successfully secured new projects, and we’re looking for a Driver/Labourer to join its direct trade workforce. Working as part of a team, you will provide essential support, representing Ian Williams, making deliveries and collections to site, whilst supporting tradespersons with rip outs and clean ups. You will be working in customer facing environments, residential properties. The Driver/Labourer role: Driving a long wheel-based van making collections, deliveries & general site-based housekeeping duties e.g., supporting trades persons with kitchen and bathroom rips outs, removing rubble off site, driving essential materials and equipment to multiple sites The ability to use initiative and work to job completion targets successfully, considering health and safety and a quality finish, always. What will you bring as Driver/Labourer? Previous experience of working as a Labourer or general operative in a similar trade-based environment. The ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of customer-based environments (e.g., people’s homes and within communal/public areas) The ability to use initiative in problem solving whilst also recognising the importance of communicating and working effectively with others. Awareness of Health & Safety Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Labourer role.
