Role: Humanities Teacher with a Geography focus to support students with Autism and SEMH in a specialist independent school in Mole Valley. Salary: £28,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications). Start Date: ASAP. Contract: Permanent. Recruitment Partner: Parker Smith Inclusion.
Responsibilities
* Teach Humanities with a key focus on Geography across KS3-4 (potentially KS5 in the future).
* Create engaging, accessible lessons for learners with autism and SEMH.
* Work closely with therapists, support staff, and senior leaders to provide holistic support.
* Help students build confidence, self-esteem, and a love for learning.
* Deliver a creative, differentiated Humanities curriculum that meets diverse learning profiles.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including therapists and behaviour specialists.
* Contribute to shaping the curriculum and ethos of a brand new school.
* Support a nurturing, therapeutic environment with small class sizes and a focus on meaningful relationships and personalised learning.

What We're Looking For
* Qualified or unqualified teachers — experience and passion matter most.
* Genuine interest in supporting neurodiverse and emotionally vulnerable students.
* Experience working with dysregulated behaviour and social/emotional needs.
* PRICE training is an advantage; if not, full training will be provided.
* Strong team ethic, flexibility, and a trauma-informed approach to education.
