Join our team in Dumfries as a Data Associate, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the effective running of customer‑focused data and processes across the business.
The Data Associate is primarily responsible for supporting the effective running of activities relating to the invoicing, pricing, or otherwise customer related data & processes.
You will support in managing both scheduled and ad hoc reports and actively troubleshoot to ensure they are correct and accurate. You will also assist in the effective running of the Customer Excellence and Commercial Functions within the business by providing administrative support for defined processes.
About the role
1. Supporting the management of the organisations pricing systems, ensuring timely updating of information pertaining to customer price agreements: and all reporting associated with ensuring it’s success.
2. Running defined reports, and providing meaningful analysis to the Leadership Team – and for defined Commercial reporting.
3. Supporting the organisations control matrix and Month End processes, running defined reports; and raising any potential issues in a timely manner to ensure compliance to legislation.
4. Supporting the Commercial Team in the collection and reporting of accurate data relating to customers.
5. Acting as a system expert on internal reporting & customer management software, providing training and support to associates to empower personal ownership of their customer base and proactivity in resolution of customer issues.
6. Keep up to date with business changes, as well as important information communicated to you.
7. Completing all tasks in a timely and professional manner to ensure the efficiency of the office and customer satisfaction.
8. General administration duties.

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Excellent organisational and planning skills and a high level of accuracy.
11. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
12. Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
Specialised Knowledge and Skills:
13. Full training will be given on our internal reporting systems but any knowledge of working with raw data to produce reports would be an advantage.
