About This Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated
Family Help Worker
to join our Early Help service within the Children and Families directorate. This is a rewarding role where you will provide early, targeted support to children, young people, and families - helping to prevent issues from escalating into statutory intervention.

You�ll build strong, respectful, and trusting relationships with families, carrying out child-centred assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions, parenting support, and child development programmes. Working in homes, schools, and community settings, you�ll ensure the voices of children and young people are at the heart of all planning and support.

If you are passionate about making a positive difference for families, enjoy working collaboratively with multi-agency partners, and want to help children and young people achieve better outcomes, this is an excellent opportunity to do just that.

We are offering three permanent positions and one fixed-term contract (12 months).

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is - Enhanced DBS Check with a Children�s Barred List check.

Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Children.
