We’re working with a high-quality, growing provider seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a children’s residential home in Thorne .
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support the Registered Manager in delivering a safe, structured and nurturing environment – stepping up to lead the home in their absence.
The Role
* Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the home
* Lead shifts, supervise staff and ensure high standards of care
* Contribute to care planning, reviews, and case conferences
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
* Support with rota management, admin, and staff performance
* Promote a safe, therapeutic and child-centred environment
* Work flexibly across shifts, including evenings and weekends
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care
* Experience in a senior or supervisory role
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and care standards
* Confident, resilient and able to make decisions under pressure
* Full UK driving licence (held 12 months)
