Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Quarriers Village for Residential Child Care Support Workers. In this position, you will provide care and support to children and young people, assist in their daily routines, and promote their emotional, social, and educational development. Responsibilities include building positive relationships, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, planning activities, and liaising with social services and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people under your care.
Qualifications
* Experience of working with children and young people to ensure their well-being and safety.
* Experience in Social Services to collaborate effectively with professionals and meet support requirements.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create positive and supportive relationships with children, young people and team members.
* Ability to manage challenging situations with compassion and professionalism.
* Relevant qualifications in Childcare, Social Services, or related fields are an advantage.
* Previous experience working with children or in a residential care environment is beneficial.
