3.5 Tonne Driver – Coatbridge
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Coatbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.
This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.Please note: You must be aged 21 or over for our client’s insurance purposes.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday• Early and late shifts• Weekly rota provided in advance
Rates of Pay
• £12.86 – £16.72 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle at the start and end of each shift• Delivering goods from the warehouse to stores and collecting returns• Completing between six and eight store deliveries per shift• Working any four nights out of seven, with rota provided weekly• Working shifts between five and ten hours per day• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points
Essential Skills
To be successful as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence• Held licence for a minimum of two years• No more than six penalty points for minor offences only• No IN, DR, DD or CD convictions accepted• Aged 21 or over (insurance requirement)• Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial or multi-drop driving experience
Training Provided
• Paid site induction following successful theory and driving assessment• Minimum of three paid training shifts alongside an experienced driver• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
