Yard Operative
Location: G71
Hours: Monday to Friday, Dayshift
Salary: £12.50ph to £14ph depending on experience - paid weekly
Apex Resources Limited are working with a busy and well-established builders’ merchant looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading building materials safely and efficiently
*
Serving customers in the yard and assisting with queries
*
Picking and preparing customer orders
*
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
*
Assisting delivery drivers as required
*
Following all health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For

A strong work ethic and positive attitude
*
Good timekeeping and reliability
*
Ability to work well as part of a team
*
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
*
Previous experience in a builders’ merchant or similar environment preferred but not essential
*
Forklift licence an advantage (counterbalance)
