Maintenance Engineer – Dorking
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

As Maintenance Engineer you’ll Be Doing
* Be the first responder to breakdowns across a wide range of equipment – from hand tools and compressors to heating systems and robotic welding cells.
* Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and minimize downtime.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
* Drive preventative maintenance projects and maintain accurate records.
* Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to keep everything performing at its best.
As Maintenance Engineer you’ll Bring
* Essential:
o City & Guilds or equivalent maintenance qualification.
o Strong practical maintenance skills with a safety-first mindset.
o Ability to prioritize and work independently or as part of a team.
o Driving Licence
o Knowledge and experience working in a busy manufacturing environment
* Desirable:
o Experience with TPM and continuous improvement.
o Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, and H&S standards (IOSH).
o Familiarity with MS Office and record‑keeping systems.
