Internal Sales Administrator
Salary: £27,500 – £30,000 per year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours)
Location: Wednesfield, fully office-based
The Role
A leading manufacturing business is looking for a motivated Internal Sales Administrator to join their internal sales team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role, dealing with customer enquiries via telephone and email, producing official quotations, entering orders, and maintaining accurate CRM and Sage records. You will work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries and queries quickly and efficiently
* Produce official quotations for customers
* Enter orders accurately onto the Sage system
* Maintain the CRM system with up-to-date information
* Liaise with the warehouse to ensure timely deliveries
* Support the external sales team
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Convert enquiries into confirmed orders
* Report daily and weekly targets to your line manager
Candidate Requirements
* Ideally from a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial background (full product training provided)
* Previous exposure to the Power Transmission industry is an advantage but not essential
* Experience with Sage and CRM systems preferred
* Strong computer skills - Excel, Word, and other Office applications
* Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Based within a commutable distance to Wednesfield
