As a Radiographic Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our radiology department, contributing to essential imaging services that help diagnose and treat our patients.
* A genuine interest in radiography and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented spirit, ready to collaborate with our diverse healthcare professionals.
* Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn and grow. Please note due we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Assisting Radiologists, Radiographers and administrative staff to maintain a good level of service.
* Support Radiologists, Radiographers and technicians by providing a high standard of patient care before during and after examination.
* Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and UHBW colleagues.
* Liaise with colleagues regarding transportation of patients to and from the x-ray dept.
* To assist with moving equipment and help with transferring patients on and off examination couches.
