Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. The Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy development.
* Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
* Utilise SQL and Power BI to extract and analyse data, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and insights.
* Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
* Assist in the development of financial models to support long-term planning initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies while maintaining accurate records.
* Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders using Microsoft PowerPoint and other tools as necessary.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
* A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial planning processes.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Previous experience in a financial analyst role or similar position is desirable but not mandatory.
