What we are looking for
We are looking for candidates who hold a relevant degree in Economics, Geography or a related field. We are seeking graduates who can demonstrate:
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to use initiative and think creatively
Work experience in Economics is advantageous but not essential, as you will learn on the job with support from the Graduate Training Scheme. Please note that due to changes in Government Legislation we are not able to support work sponsored visas.
Role responsibilities
As a Graduate Economic Analyst, you will support the Economics team to provide economic input on planning statements, representations, economic benefit reports, socio-economic chapters and other related reports. You will assist with research projects that involve data collection, collation, analysis and interpretation, and you will present research findings to colleagues and clients. You will gain experience working on sectors such as residential and regeneration schemes, town expansion, retail, commercial, leisure and renewable energy projects to support your development.
