North Co Recruitment are working with a leading UK private medical insurer looking to strengthen their underwriting and pricing performance. This is a high-impact role, offering the chance to drive strategic initiatives, optimise portfolio performance, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
What you’ll do
* Produce underwriting performance projections to support Finance planning and forecasting.
* Collaborate with Pricing and Insight teams to define strategic assumptions and projection models.
* Lead portfolio initiatives, including retention strategies, new business rollouts, and SME pricing oversight.
* Ensure underwriting decisions are fair, compliant, and aligned to risk appetite, automating or delegating where appropriate.
* Manage, coach, and develop your team, aligning priorities to business objectives and maximising impact.
What we’re looking for
* Experience leading Pricing, Underwriting, or Finance teams.
* Deep knowledge of the PMI market and regulatory environment.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, translating strategy into actionable plans.
* Excellent communication, influencing skills, and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
