The History department is committed to delivering a rich and varied curriculum that encourages historical inquiry and develops students' analytical skills About the Role: Deliver engaging and well-planned History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of historical periods and themes. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, including discussion, research, and source analysis. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and historical investigations, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Contribute to departmental meetings and participate in the development of the History curriculum. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History. A strong knowledge of the secondary History curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make History & RE relevant and engaging for students.
