Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Control Panel Design Project Engineer to join our team in Slough. The role involves designing and project engineering control panels for HVAC/BMS systems, managing a small team, and working closely with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Design control panels and motor control centres to IEC61439-1 standards
* Use Eplan P8 for electrical drawings
* Develop control systems for HVAC and BMS applications, including Trend BMS and PLC controls
* Write software for control systems using SET and other tools
* Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring profitability
* Occasionally assist with on-site commissioning and client communication
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in control panel design, especially with Eplan
* Knowledge of HVAC, PLC controls, and communication protocols like TCP/IP, BACNET, Modbus
* Electrical knowledge of 400V systems, motor control techniques (DOL, ASD, Frequency Inverter)
* Experience with Trend / Honeywell software, IQ Vision, Niagara platform
* Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong project management skills, including financial oversight
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
* Willingness to occasionally visit construction sites
