Overview

Please note that this post involves being able to work at least one evening session per week (12pm – 8pm) and you will have to have a minimum of 1-year post qualification experience in a Talking Therapies service as well as supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead on specialist interests & service development within the Step 2 Team.
* Line manage staff.
* Provide supervision of staff.
* Deliver mental health screening assessments and psychological interventions (including more complex cases appropriate to Step 2 work) with the support of a qualified member of the team, and work independently according to a plan agreed with line manager within the framework of our policies and procedures.
* Support the PWP Professional Lead/Senior Management Team to ensure the smooth operation of the Step 2 team.
* Assist in clinically related admin, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
* Support the step 2 team via the provision of supervision and line management.
* Support and induct new staff to the Step 2 Team.
* Work with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary. You should be committed to equal opportunities.
* Screening new referrals and making decisions about the suitability of referrals. Offering a range of treatment options including GSH and groups.
