About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be evident in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and care.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to connect with people. Communication skills are essential—you should be a good listener and a clear communicator, always considerate and kind in your interactions.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to seek advice or report concerns as needed.
We offer full training and a range of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
