Pastoral & Safeguarding Co-ordinator
The Pastoral and Safeguarding Co-ordinator supports the Pastoral Team to fulfil all aspects of their roles. The post holder is the first point of contact in many cases and plays an important role in how Sherborne is perceived by critical stakeholders. It is an expectation that the Pastoral and Safeguarding Co-ordinator will also be part of the Designated Safeguarding Lead team. The post holder also manages all safeguarding administration.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday for 35.4 weeks of the year (8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday less one hour for lunch each day). You will work one additional hour per week during main term time (33.4 weeks), on a flexible basis between 5.00pm and 6.00pm Monday to Friday to minute a meeting, as agreed in advance. The post holder will be required to work during Sherborne School Term Time to also include working during the holidays as follows: Up to 10 days to be split between the start and end of the summer holidays. Working days will be as agreed by your line manager. To fulfil the demands of the post you may be required to be flexible in terms of working hours.
Salary: Up to £23,568.68 per annum (£14.95 per hour), depending on skills and experience. This salary includes 5.6 weeks' holiday pay. Salaries are paid monthly in arrears direct into your nominated bank account.
