A little more about your role… You will support the team in the delivery of other technical advisory services, including technical due diligence reviews, asset condition surveys and lifecycle / maintenance assessments. You will provide independent engineering advice to lenders and investors in the property and construction sectors. You will provide day to day project management of Independent Certifier (IC) services on a number of projects. You will deliver quantitative and qualitative analysis in which the inputs and outputs are clear, reliable and well documented. You will be creating logical and innovative solutions to compliment the delivery of the teams work. You will be liaising extensively with external and internal clients; presenting proposals and agreeing a course of action. You will ensure budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met. As a member of the team, you will provide technical expertise across the work streams covering independent certifier services, technical advisory and technical due diligence. The role is principally to provide technical advisory services. This will be across a variety of PPP type projects in sectors including Education and Healthcare but with a view to grow into other forms of infrastructure. A little more about your team… The PPP and Property Advisory team has three main work streams; Technical Due Diligence, Technical Advisory Services and Asset Management Services. These teams are made up of multi-disciplinary professionals mainly from building surveying, QS, mechanical and electrical engineering and FM backgrounds. Together they offer many services to our clients including equity investors, debt financiers, management companies, construction companies, developers and government organisations through the identification and management of technical and commercial risk associated with the development, management and funding of infrastructure and real estate projects. Put simply we lever the global technical world-class skills of the business allied with our commercial and contractual transaction acumen to provide professional services to clients that develop, manage, finance or invest in infrastructure and real estate assets. Our USP is that we are a dedicated team that specialise in advising clients with a funding or investment focus to the PPP/P3 and real estate arrangement where we have a culture within our team that aligns with these clients for PPP/P3 and real estate assets. We understand their needs and pressures and react accordingly whether that be considering the demands of executing deals or offering a robust opinion when our clients are exposed to downside scenarios. What we will be looking for you to demonstrate… BSc, BTEC, HND/HNC qualification in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar. MCIBSE, MIMechE, MIEE, MIET full professional registration or working towards. Mechanical and Electrical Surveying or Consultancy experience.
