Responsibilities: We manage and optimise our AWS infrastructure across EC2, RDS, and Route 53. We maintain our Linux and Windows environments. We oversee backups, disaster recovery, and overall system resilience. We manage DNS, CDN, and edge services, including Cloudflare. We own our internal IT systems, hardware, and security. We improve monitoring, automation, and operational efficiency across the infrastructure estate. We work closely with leadership and gradually take ownership of the full infrastructure function. We support a stable environment while continuously improving systems rather than rebuilding from scratch.
