Retail Store Manager – Swindon

The Role – Store Manager
* Lead by example, fostering an excellent culture aligned to values: Genuine, Wise, Eager, Focused, Together.
* Fully responsible for store operations: people KPIs, store standards, customer service standards, financial performance. Maximise turnover, gross margin and control costs.
* Deliver highest pet care standards; welfare of pets a top priority, responsible ownership promotion.
* Exceptional customer service: great shopping experience, strong pet & product knowledge (training given).
* Recruit, motivate, train, develop your team; review & manage performance; promote Jollyes as an employer of choice locally.
* Communicate key business updates, objectives to team and individuals.
The Skills & Experience
* Passion for pets & people; delight customers with unrivalled experience.
* Retail store management experience, hands‑on daily management, long‑term planning.
* Sound decision maker, effective communication, team building, succession planning.
* Proven track record in business performance, exceeding KPIs, high store standards, health & safety, legal compliance.
* Commercially aware; P&L management, proactive approach.
* UK driving licence, own transport for out‑of‑hours cover.
* Full time, permanent – 40 hours/week, 5 days out of 7.
