We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sonographer to lead our Obstetric Ultrasound team. The post holder will work across Singleton and Neath Port Talbot sites. This role is suitable for experienced sonographers interested in developing leadership and clinical skills. The successful applicant will ensure an accurate, consistent, and cohesive approach to obstetric ultrasound imaging across SBUHB.
Candidates must have a graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (PgC, PgD, MSc), current professional registration (HCPC/NMC), and FMF Nuchal accreditation.
A structured induction program will be provided. The health board is committed to the development of radiographers within the service.

As a lead for the Obstetric Ultrasound service, you will manage service delivery, perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, and work closely with colleagues to support the ultrasound service across the Health Board.
* Provide a caring, confidential diagnostic service respecting patients' dignity and privacy.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of a comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective ultrasound service across hospital sites.
* Lead, manage, and organise the ultrasound service collaboratively with the Radiology Manager and Clinical Director.
* Assist in ensuring guidelines and protocols are in place to maintain best practices.
* Ensure the ultrasound service operates within established guidelines and frameworks.
