* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience of teaching within a secondary school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence.
* A thorough understanding of effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a purposeful and engaging learning environment.
* High expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, attendance, and personal development.
* The ability to plan and deliver challenging, well-structured lessons that inspire and motivate pupils.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable
* Experience of teaching in a faith school setting.
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
* Experience using assessment data to monitor progress and raise attainment.
* Experience contributing to curriculum development or wider school initiatives.
* Experience of pastoral responsibilities or mentoring pupils.
