We are looking for a confident and compassionate Session Leader Educational Support to support primary and secondary-aged students with SEMH/SEND needs. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about helping children who may struggle to engage socially or academically in mainstream education.
As a Session Leader Educational Support you will be:
* Planning and delivering structured learning sessions
* Supporting children’s emotional regulation, social skills, and confidence
* Encouraging positive behaviour and routines
* Adapting activities to meet individual needs
* Maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment
* Following safeguarding procedures and professional boundaries
As the Session Leader Educational Support, you will have:
* At least 2 years’ experience working with children with SEMH/SEND needs
* Relevant training in supporting SEMH/SEND students
* Patience, resilience, and adaptability
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Hours & Pay:
* Part-time or full-time, term-time only (39 weeks)
* Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 15:30 (sessions 09:00–12:00 & 12:30–15:30)
* Hourly pay: £18–£20 (based on experience)
