Just you, a brilliant CFO, and the chance to shape the finance function exactly as it should be. The CFO here is the selling point- someone wholl invest in you, stretch you, and give you proper SLT visibility from day one. What youll be doing as the Financial Controller: Initially, youll need to roll your sleeves up. This isnt a seat-and-delegate job straight away, youll be hands-on across month-end, management accounts, balance sheet recs, budgets and forecasts. As the team grows (and youll be involved in building it), your role evolves with it. Youre not just filling a seat; youre laying the foundations. Working closely with the CFO, youll help to implement new reporting frameworks and processes that make sense for where this business is heading.
