Responsibilities Conduct risk assessment prior to any maintenance work and ensure conclusions are implemented prior to the start of work to remove hazards. Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled during the shift to the highest standards within a given timeframe, whilst maintaining accurate records of all maintenance actions. Conduct continuous machine observation and measurement during the shift, identifying potential failure or deterioration in output, waste, or quality performance from machine standards. Determine cause of potential failure or performance deterioration and either complete remedial work during the shift or submit a brief report to subsequent shift engineer outlining the issue, cause, and recommended solution. Respond immediately to equipment failures. Investigate faults, identify causes, and determine the most effective solution to the fault. Report on the nature of faults, causes, and solutions via our CMMS maintenance system. Volunteer ideas/initiatives that contribute to service levels and maintenance / equipment improvements. Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge). You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed.
