Purchase Ledger Clerk – 6-Month Contract – Outskirts of Preston
We’re looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team for a 6-month contract just outside Preston.
You’ll be the go-to person for processing invoices, keeping supplier accounts up to date, and helping the team run smoothly. It’s a hands-on role where accuracy and organisation really matter, and you’ll get to see the difference your work makes every day.
What you’ll be doing:
* Processing purchase invoices and matching them to purchase orders
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
* Preparing and making payments
* Helping with month-end tasks where needed
* Working with suppliers and colleagues to keep everything on track
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable
* Comfortable with numbers and paying attention to detail
* Confident using accounting systems (Sage experience is a bonus)
* Good communicator and a team player

* 6-month contract
* Based on the outskirts of Preston
* Immediate start
* Competitive rate Up to £28,000 pa
