Supervisor – Night Shift (Exeter)
Hours per week: 40. Pay Rate: £13.53 - £14.53 per hour, with a night rate of £14.53 per hour between 23:00 and 06:00.
Key Responsibilities
* Take full responsibility for the opening, trading and closing of the venue.
* Assist the venue manager in day‑to‑day activities.
* Ensure interior/exterior and housekeeping standards are maintained.
* Establish and maintain customer service standards, maximizing income.
* Implement marketing/promotional activities to maximise revenue.
* Assist senior managers to maximise business opportunities within the venue.
* Ensure timely and accurate cash collections in accordance with company procedures.
* Enforce company security procedures and conduct regular checks.
* Ensure safety of employees and members of the public.
* Complete daily/weekly/periodical administration to the required standard.
* Resolve day‑to‑day employee problems, creating a positive work environment.
* Promote the company positively to internal and external customers.
* Promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures while maintaining customer service.
* Discourage harassment, bullying, victimisation or discrimination of any kind.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within gaming, retail, hospitality or similar industry.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Experience in leading and mentoring others.
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
* Willingness to learn and develop.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work both day and night shifts (if venue is 24‑hour operation).
