You will support the company's manufacturing activities. This is a key role to the business as you will be testing equipment to ensure its compliance with relevant standards and certification before they reach our customers. This role is a 'hands-on' position with interaction across the entire business department.
More About The Role
* Complete reports and maintain records of work carried out in accordance with our Business Management Systems (training will be provided)
* Working with Intrinsically Safe Certified Instrumentation is a major function of the role
* Testing: Electronic, Electrical & Mechanical, using bench and portable test equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Frequency and Counters
About You
* Be familiar with the use of standard electronic test equipment
* Be fully conversant with the use of mechanical hand tools
* Must be computer literate with Word, Excel, Outlook
* Have an understanding of Health and Safety, especially working with COSHH products (training will be provided)
* Ability to carry out tasks independently once trained, working on your own initiative
* Must be self-disciplined, self-motivated, with initiative and a team-player attitude
Training
* Internal training will be provided
* External training will be provided where required
