This is a great opportunity to build your specialist skills while supporting people recovering from stroke to regain independence and confidence.
You’ll join a supportive, multidisciplinary stroke rehabilitation team working across the community. You’ll use your clinical expertise to assess needs, plan interventions and help people work towards goals that matter to them. You’ll also play a key role in shaping safe, effective and person‑centred care across the service.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver specialist assessments and interventions for people with complex stroke‑related needs
* Plan and manage your own caseload, making clear clinical decisions and prioritising care
* Offer advice, supervision and training to colleagues, students, patients and carers
* Work with others to triage referrals, monitor service quality and support service development
* Maintain accurate records and follow professional and organisational policies
What We’re Looking For
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist, with experience in post‑registration practice
* Strong clinical reasoning skills and confidence working with people with complex needs
* Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with patients, families and partners
* Experience working within multidisciplinary or multi‑agency settings
* Commitment to ongoing learning, reflective practice and inclusive care
