Ecolab is seeking a HR Advisor to proactively partner with HR Business Partners and Line Managers. The role involves providing comprehensive, pragmatic, and commercially focused operational HR support and solutions related to people issues. The goal is to meet business objectives and foster a positive people management environment, attracting, developing, and retaining talented, engaged employees aligned with Ecolab Values.
Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities
1. Support line managers in delivering the people agenda, ensuring consistent application of company procedures and risk mitigation.
2. Provide advice and support on Employee Relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
3. Raise awareness of employment legislation, trends, initiatives, and corporate programs.
4. Identify and address trends in voluntary attrition, sickness, and cost-saving opportunities.
5. Assist with recruitment and onboarding, including participating in interviews, onboarding, and probation reviews.
6. Promote and monitor the completion of performance and development frameworks.
7. Coach and train managers on people management, empowering them to lead effectively.
8. Drive efficiencies through digital interventions and process improvements.
9. Lead or contribute to projects such as restructures, change management, and HR initiatives.
10. Participate in TUPE transfers and acquisitions, including due diligence and risk assessment.
11. Collaborate with centers of excellence and external providers to meet people priorities.
12. Support employee engagement, sustainability, and performance management activities.
13. Act as an ambassador for Ecolab’s purpose, values, and behaviors.
14. Ensure compliance with company and function standards.
15. Stay informed on market trends and best practices, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Strong HR generalist experience, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
2. Experience working with central functions and delivery partners.
3. Ability to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders and management teams.
4. Up-to-date knowledge of UK and Ireland employment law.
5. Effective influencing skills with pragmatic, commercial problem-solving abilities.
6. Flexibility to work across a wide geographical area and in a multi-site/mobile capacity.
7. Experience in complex matrix organizations.
8. Autonomous decision-making skills within a framework.
9. Resilience and adaptability to changing demands.
10. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
11. Willingness to travel regularly and adapt to flexible working arrangements.
Desirable
1. CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
2. Experience supporting UK & Ireland businesses.
3. Experience influencing internal stakeholders in complex organizations to enable positive change.
