What you can do for us
* Support the Regional General Manager in all aspects of running the serviced apartments, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, administration, revenue and sales
* Monitor and action feedback received through guest satisfaction surveys, 3rd party websites and from clients after and during their stay and resolve any client disputes and complaints in a professional manner and within guidelines issued
* Ensure that all departments operate within the quality standards set out in the SOPs, monitoring and taking action to any feedback within a timely manner
* Work in cooperation with other departments, developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues, ensuring thatthere is regular communication across the entire team.
* Ability to take on project work and ad hoc duties as requested by the Regional General Manager and Head Office function
* Produce forecasts for revenues and costs and monitor that these are maintained within budgetary constraints and communicate to the Regional General Manager any shortcomings as soon as possible
* Manage and motivate a team of direct reports daily, deputising in the absence of the Regional General Manager
* Ensure the hotel complies with all legislation and Staycity requirements regarding H&S and employment law
* Regularly evaluate individual and team performance against set objectives. Offer constructive feedback through on-the-job training, performance appraisals, one-on-one discussions, and team meetings. If necessary, implement corrective measures.
* Enhance the team's skills and knowledge by creating and executing department-specific training plans that align with our business objectives.
* Cultivate collaborative relationships with other departments, fostering effective communication and teamwork across the organisation. Promote a unified 'One Team Spirit.'
Required Skills and Experience
* Previous management experience of at least 5years in a fast-paced environment.
* You will have good accountability and sales skills as well as an all-round management experience.
* Excellent communication skills, highly focused, motivated, and professional in appearance and presentation to represent the Staycity Group Brand.
* Accountability onP&L, sales skills as well as an all-around management experience.
* A self-motivatorwith attention to detail and a passion for customer service.
* Demonstrate how youare able tomotivate, appraise, support and challenge the team to deliver world-class results in every aspect of the business continuously.
* Sufficientknowledge of H&S,Employment Law and Financial Acumen is desirable.
* Experience in providingtraining, guidance, and supervision to allteams, actively participating in day-to-day department activities.
