Milk Education are recruiting Creative Teaching Assistants to support a number of welcoming, inclusive, and high-achieving Primary Schools across Gateshead.

Creative Teaching Assistant – Why this role?

As a Creative Teaching Assistant, you’ll help bring lessons to life through interactive learning, play-based activities, targeted interventions, and hands-on classroom support.

Creative Teaching Assistant – Your role will include:

✅ Supporting children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
✅ Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
✅ Delivering interventions in Phonics, English, Reading, Writing, and Maths
✅ Supporting children with additional learning needs
✅ Creating fun, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences
✅ Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and lesson delivery
✅ Helping build children’s confidence, independence, and social development
✅ Using creative approaches to keep pupils motivated and engaged

Creative Teaching Assistant – What we’re looking for:

✔ Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
✔ A positive, energetic, and proactive attitude
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ A genuine passion for education and child development
✔ Creative, adaptable, and confident working in fast-paced environments
✔ Available for full-time work across Gateshead
