Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to support the delivery of a major hospital project in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile healthcare scheme at a critical design stage.
You will play a key role in the Stage 4 & 5 (Detailed Design & Construction) phases, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Electrical design for healthcare environments, including power, lighting, fire alarms, data/communications, and associated systems
2. Producing and reviewing detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations
3. Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
4. Supporting technical delivery through to construction stage
5. Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
Requirements:
6. Proven experience as an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer
7. Strong background in Stage 4 & 5 design delivery
8. Previous experience on healthcare/hospital projects
9. Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit, AutoCAD)
10. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
