SEND Tutor – Banbury | £20–£30 per hour
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate SEND Tutor to join our growing team in Banbury.
About the Role
You’ll be supporting students with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and across EYFS to Post-16. Each learner is unique, and you’ll have the autonomy to plan, assess, and deliver a tailored scheme of work that meets their individual goals.
Tutors are primarily required for Maths and English, though experience across the curriculum is highly valued. Sessions are typically 1:1 or small group, taking place in schools, community settings, or the student’s home (depending on the arrangement).
Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience
* Strong understanding of SEND and adaptive teaching strategies
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* Reliable, empathetic, and committed to helping learners reach their potential
* DBS check (enhanced) required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
