You must have a minimum of 12 months experience working within optics.
Responsibilities for the Optical Assistant
* Dispensing spectacles to customers of all levels.
* Conducting pre-screen tests and providing comprehensive contact lens teachings.
* Assisting patients with frame styling and offering expert advice on suitable options.
* Managing reception duties and contributing to general administrative tasks.
* Working 09:00am - 17:30pm, 5-days inclusive of Saturdays.
Requirements for the Optical Assistant
* Minimum 12 months experience in a customer service or optics role.
* Commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
* To be a real team player and help on other departments.
* An up-beat, friendly attitude.
* Being able to think independently and using initiative.
* Clear communication coupled with the ability to build rapport with people.
