Alongside leading your team, you’ll contribute to the strategic direction of the wider Financial Planning team, supporting sustainable growth while operating within risk appetite. You’ll bring clarity, credibility and energy to your leadership, inspiring confidence across your team and building strong partnerships across the wider business.

* Driving team performance across key metrics and minimum standards, whilst maintaining a strong focus on exceptional client service and client‑led outcomes
* Providing high‑quality sales leadership and skills coaching through one‑to‑ones, performance oversight and effective use of workflow management systems
* Owning the risk and quality metrics across your area, ensuring robust mechanisms are in place to identify, mitigate and report risks within defined appetite
* Shaping and delivering the strategic and commercial priorities for your region or client group, whilst contributing to the long‑term success of the wider Wealth Private Bank function
* Building strong internal and external networks, using market insight, feedback and continuous improvement to help keep our services and solutions distinctive and market‑leading

The Skills You’ll Need

You’ll need the appropriate Training and Competence check clearance, alongside a strong personal and professional record. As a minimum, you’ll need an RDR‑compliant Level 4 qualification in financial advice and Planning, together with a willingness to study towards any further qualifications required for the role.

We’re looking for someone with a strong track record of leading regulated adviser teams with substantial experience in management or leadership, across multiple office locations, and the credibility to lead experienced professionals in a high‑performing, client‑centric environment.

You’ll bring career experience as a financial adviser or player‑manager in a comparable business, with experience of managing a client book and providing financial planning advice across structured and or wrapped products. You’ll also bring a strong understanding of client journey, process improvement, and how to translate the voice of the customer into better outcomes.

You’ll Also Demonstrate

* A deep understanding of client service excellence, financial Planning, relationship management, quality management and risk mitigation
* Experience in private banking, wealth management, core banking, asset management or investment management, with a strong grounding in financial planning and adviser leadership
* A strong record of managing individual and team KPI performance, including forecasting, reporting, sales pipeline oversight and escalated client relationships
* The ability to navigate multiple and complex stakeholder relationships with confidence and credibility

* A proven ability to retain and grow business, while mentoring, stretching and developing high‑performing teams
* Sound judgement, commercial strength and a leadership style that combines high standards with strong coaching capability
